Dear Max
I am writing on behalf of the GPRC Co-Chairs, to confirm that your suspension continues, having been renewed at each GPRC meeting since you were suspended. GPRC would have informed him to the contrary if the suspension had ceased . Also please note that a  tribunal will be organised by one of the new Co-Chairs who have only recently taken up these posts. It will be organised for as early in the new year as possible so you should expect correspondence from the co-chairs soon into the new year.
 Best wishes
 David Murray

Dear Max
Please be advised that any decision about your future membership remains with the Green Party Regional Council, and not with GPEx or the Chief Executive. I have therefore copied in the GPRC Co-chairs so that they are aware of this message and can respond to you accordingly.

Best wishes
David Murray, Chief Executive The Green Party

Subject: My membership suspension by GPRC Co-chairs - unconstitutional; lapsed

Richard Mallender, Chair GPEx, and David Murray, CEO
David Murray's notification of Suspension of my Membership, 18th July
The GPRC decision to suspend me  was taken not by the body itself but by on-call Councillors and Co-chairs (letter below).  The decision was taken without any information to me of any complaint accepted by the GPRC,  let alone any evidence from me.  It included delay for 2 months to the next scheduled GPRC meeting , which was held on 7th Sept.
#  This conflicts with Constitution 4 ix) “disciplinary cases should be heard without delay”.
#  was not approved in accordance with 5 viii), but just by Co-chairs and GPRC councillors
#  appears to have lapsed under 3.3, as not renewed at the 7th Sept GPRC meeting
On 2, agreement by the chair of GPRC and the chair of GPEx would be needed; I understand there was no agreement by the previous chair of GPEx.
5 viii) "Disciplinary cases may be brought by a Local or Regional Party, a body of the Party at national level, or any member(s) with the agreement of the Chairs of the Regional Council and Executive."
On 3, I have prompted the GPRC secretary over my suspension, but she declined to answer and I have been not received notification in over 6 weeks.  GPRC have failed to send the 'copy of the complaint' and notice of a Tribunal promised 18 July.
"3.3 PRIOR SUSPENSION  If a Defendant has been suspended by Regional Council pending investigation of a complaint or the setting up of a Tribunal, that suspension will lapse unless renewed by Regional Council at each occasion of it meeting."
I conclude that my suspension was unconstitutional and invalid from the start, the failure to get the approval of the previous chair of GPEx made it invalid, and in any case it appears to have lapsed. Whatever the hiatus in GPRC after the ruling by Conference for SOC, justice delayed is justice denied in my case.  Please confirm therefore that you will restore my membership rights forthwith.

> From David Murray, 18 July 2013
> I am writing to you on behalf of the GPRC Co-Chairs.
> After a meeting of Co-chairs and GPRC councillors, it has been decided to suspend your membership following receipt of a complaint about you which was considered at your local party recently and now referred to GPRC. This suspension concerns making defamatory statements about another member online and in a party newsletter. We consider suspension necessary since the wellbeing of members is an ongoing risk. We will discuss how to proceed with your case at our next full GPRC meeting and will send you a copy of the complaint after we have allocated a due procedure.
Further correspondence between myself, the CEO and SOC are in an e-mail train of 8th August.
