Dear Sian,
I see in your Minutes you report the chair as reporting from the WGP Special Conference:
The newsletter’s editor, Max Wallis, was asked to justify his actions, and failed to do so.
and
Because of statements made by Max in the newsletter, the selection process for WGP candidates for the European elections in 2014 has been suspended.
Yet you were present at the Conference and
      a)  heard me ‘justify’ the items in question with - the Green Party believes in free speech, and Pippa had declined to answer the letter but said to refer to her previous published statements.
b)  heard the ERO stating the suspension was not for any “statement” by me, but for the link to Anne Greagsby’s pippabartalotti.blogspot.co.uk.
Maybe you were simply recording the chair’s disgraceful and lying attack on me, but you surely have responsibility as branch officer for not propagating falsehoods and for informing the branch of Green Party policy and procedure for complaints/dispute resolution.
Please therefore immediately circulate the membership with my corrections a) and b) .
I will not accept the bureaucratic excuse of delaying correction of the Minutes till the next Branch Meeting; policy is for slanders and falsehood in electronic media to be corrected as soon as possible.  And as it’s the chair’s falsehoods at issue, you need to correct them without going through him.
Please send me acknowledgement of this e-mail complaint, and confirm as soon as possible your response to it.
Regards,

  Max Wallis
