Subject: Your intention for DRC to resolve conflict between JM and me

Dear Owen,
I see that neither my complaint against John Matthews nor the Cdf Branch resolution on my expulsion  came up at Saturday's WGP Council meeting as Ann had intended.
Did you bring the attention of Ann and the Council your proposal to instead take the matter to the DRC ?  And how does that square with the record in the draft Minutes that you voted for the motion for my suspension as newsletter editor?
Since they adopted the Local and regional complaints procedure amended to include the DRC,
there seems no excuse for Ann to delay matters.
Please let me know what you now intend for the dispute resolution.
Regards / Max

Dear Max
Since there is not yet a Wales Disputes Resolution Committee I suggest
that you should use the services of the E&WGP Dispute Resolution
Committee.  As an initial step I suggest meeting you in Cardiff as the
resolver to discuss your views of the situation before going to Cardiff
& Vale GP to learn their views and then preparing for a resolution meeting with both sides.
All the best
Owen

Subject: Working towards a resolution
Dear Max
I would like to meet you in Cardiff for a quiet chat about ways in which a resolution could be found between yourself and Cardiff&Vale Green Party. Any time after 11:00 would be suitable for me on Wednesday,Thursday or Friday of this week.
Please let me know your choice.
All the best
Owen Clarke

Dear Owen,
Thank you for that information. I hadn't realised that that part had been deleted. Fortunately for me, I have never had to call on the services of DRC so I don't have much personal experience of its workings.
However, your information does strengthen my argument for at least attempting to deal with all these issues at the next WGPC meeting before moving forward with formal complaint procedures.
There does not seem much point in bringing in DRC if one or both or the parties are not genuinely interested in finding a resolutiion.

It is my intention to try and discuss this at the WGPC meeting in May with the aim of achieving some sort of resolution.
